To open a personal account you will need the following documents:

  1. Notarised copy of your international passport
  2. Notarised copy of proof of address and the front page of your internal passport, or a utility bill
  3. Completed and signed bank forms (our managers will fill them in for you)
  4. Additional documents (in case of a power of attorney, opening a business account, etc.)

To open a corporate account, information about shareholders and directors will be required, plus a standard set of company documents.

  1. Notarised copy of the beneficiary’s (company shareholder) passport
  2. Notarised copy of the company director’s passport
  3. Certified copy of the registration/proof of address and the first page of the internal passport, or a utility bill
  4. Additional documents (e.g., passport of the account manager, if the account will be managed by someone other than the beneficiary)
  5. Notarised set of company documents (see below)

The set of company documents depends on the jurisdiction. A standard set of documents usually includes the following documents:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation
  2. Certificate of Good Standing (if the company is older than 12 months)
  3. Memorandum & Articles of Association
  4. Nomination of Director
  5. Power of Attorney (usually issued by the director of the company to the beneficiary)
  6. Share Certificate
  7. Share Nominee Agreement (if the shares are not held by the beneficiary)

If the ultimate beneficial owner of the company resides in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, etc., we can open an account for a company registered in jurisdictions such as:

Seychelles, Belize, Panama, BVI and other offshore jurisdictions.

Cost, timeframe, and account opening procedure

Account opening fee at CIM Swiss Bank: EUR 1,000.
Average time until account activation: 5-10 business days.

  • Photocopying / scanning of statutory documents / passports
  • Payment of the account opening fee of USD 600
  • Opening of a temporary “holding” account by the bank manager
  • Depositing a minimum initial deposit of USD/EUR/CHF 5,000 / 10,000
  • The bank sends a DIGIPASS for account management

All documents require originals or notarised copies.

Authorisation of a scanned copy of the account holder’s passport requires the presence of the original and the physical presence of the passport holder.

The account is opened in one visit to our office. After the initial authorisation at our company, you will be able to contact the bank managers “directly”.
